Temporary Tendencies (WIP)

Temporary Tendencies presents a location specific processing lab. With the use of performance as a framing tool for exploring themes of mass-production and sustainable making, Temporary Tendencies offers a futuristic, fictitious perspective on contemporary and potential happenings. This mobile lab is authored and funded by New Grounds, a small startup company that chooses to monitze mother nature by disrupting the order of events found within decomposition. This mobile facility sets up shop and begins by rummaging through garbage and adapting to area specific materials. Its primary objective is to take abandoned material and discarded waste, then transform it into new possibilities that can be thrown back into the market. New Grounds operates on ten hour work days. The lab has enough space to accommodate up to two working employees at one time. Within the space of New Grounds there is an embodied persona that the artist and or hired talent
